The December 2002 meeting of Chapter 72 was fun filled as usual. The
highlight was Doug Minty and Michael Smith talking about their experiences
in setting up the copy of H1, Harrison's first chronometer attempt to win
the Prize. The machine is set up in the Maritime Museum in Darling
Harbour in Sydney until March 2005, on loan from the Royal Observatory at
Greenwich. Click on the pictures for a larger view |
