June & August - Chapter 72 Auction

Our yearly members' auction of clocks, watches and horological bits and pieces was another success. Doug Minty ploughed through 600 lots at the rate of 100 per hour, as good as many a professional. French clocks sold well, but everything else met moderate prices compared with previous years. The items ranged from longcases to watches and everything in between. It's a very entertaining day in our calendar.
