June 2008 - Chapter 72 Meeting

Meetings include a number of activities with a main presentation preceded by some short reports on recent and upcoming activities, short presentations by members on current topics and show-and-tell by any member who wants to share their knowledge and talk about stuff they are working on. Bringing along items for display is encouraged as we all learn. There's always a mart where members can sell the items they want to pass on.

There's a raffle of interesting items - clocks, books or tools and great joy for the winner, followed by afternoon tea and the opportunity to mingle with fellow enthusiasts. Visitors are welcome.

The pictures below show the type of program and the items brought along by members. Of note this time is librarian Arthur Reid talking about a new library aquisition on Omega watches and clocks.
