Chapter 168 December 2004 meeting was on four glass torsion clocks (plastic
also!). Quite a range of these clocks was displayed, ranging from pre
WW1 to the 1970's with very high quality to the more simple varieties.
All very much of interest tracing the development of this style. No
examples of 4-glass torsion clocks between WW1 and WW2 have been sighted, do
they exist at all, or was the style resurrected only after WW2? Our
meetings have a major theme, a workshop item - this time how not to use
Brasso on 4 glass cases, show and tell, restoration projects and a mystery
